The B’52s are just awesome. So much fun but so, so much hiding below the surface of this Pop juggernaut. You’re probably familiar with ‘Love Shack’ or even ‘Rock Lobster’ but take the time to dig a little deeper and you’ll discover a multitude of songs that could’ve easily been hit singles in their own right. This banger, ‘Private Idaho’ is a great example. Mixing ever present Surf guitar licks with their quirky, almost yodelling vocals along with their knack for massive hooks along with that driving beat that makes resistance to dancing futile… B’52s Rule!
