1. What happens if I want to order something that is out of stock?
Shoot us an email and ask us nicely – we may be able to order more stock for you. We will always try our best to help you out. That’s just how we roll.

2. How are my goodies sent and when will they be in my hot little hands?
We ship and track all orders with Australia Post or via one of our courier services.

For standard shipping allow 2-7 days (Areas outside of major cities please allow up to 10 days and for remote areas please allow up to 14 days)
Express shipping is quicker and International shipping (outside of Australia) please allow 5-14 days.

3. How’s that weather?

4. How much will it cost me in postage?
All shipping will be calculated at checkout depending on your location.

5. What payment methods do you use and is it safe?
Hunting for George accepts Visa, Mastercard, AMEX and uses the a secure payment gateway for our credit card transactions. This means we have the highest security policy to guarantee your credit card details are kept safe and will not fall into the hands of a Nigerian gang on a mission for porn and cheap Viagra. We also offer payment via PayPal and by now pay later methods. Very handy indeed.

6. Where do you stand on exchanges or refunds?
If you receive any products that you are not 100% happy with, simply send us an email at within 14 days.

7. What happens if my items arrive damaged or faulty?

We check every purchase before sending it out to you. However in the unlikely event of your item getting damaged in transit, please email us with photos of the damage within 14 days. Check our Returns FAQ for more information.

8. I’m having trouble using a promo code on the site. Can you help?
Most of our promotions can be viewed on our promotions page and the terms and conditions are also shown here. Promotions cannot be added after your order number is issued, so please contact our customer service team before finishing the order. If the code you are using is expiring that day and our customer service team is not available, please email immediately so we can resolve your issue.

9. Do you ship internationally?
We sure do! However for some of our larger and heavier products we may only ship within Australia. Please check the product description to make sure.

10. Where are your store locations?
Our biggest store is right here, online. Hunting for George online provides all your favourite brands under one roof and saves you the hassle of finding a park and battling through the crowds at your local shops. How do I change my account information?
Log in to your account by clicking on the My Account tab located in the top right hand corner of any page’s navigation bar.

1. Enter your email address and password
2. Click on the “Continue” button

3. You will now be logged into your account

4. Click on the “Edit” button located next to section you wish to edit

5. Update your new information

6. Click on the “Make Changes” button

What if I forgot my password?
If you forget your password, we can email it to your account’s email address. If you would like to do that now, please follow the instructions below:

1. Click on Account located in the top navigation bar
2. Directly under the password field is a link that says “I forgot my password”. You will be taken to the password screen, where you will be prompted to enter in your email address
3. Type your email address and click the “Get Your Password”. We will send an email with a temporary password. For security purposes, your original password will be reset by our system
4. Go back to the Hunting for George homepage and continue to shop
5. When you’re ready to proceed to check out, enter your email address and your new temporary password. You can change your temporary password by clicking on “edit” under My Account

To protect your security, Hunting for George will automatically delete any saved credit card information if your password is changed. Simply re-enter any credit card information you wish to store the next time you shop with us.

You must apply the supplied discount code in your checkout to redeem the promotion. Discount codes can not be added after your order has been placed and confirmation received. At checkout, only one discount code can be entered at any one time. If you are unsure how to enter a discount code please contact customer service.

What do I need to know about promotions?

  • Promotions, discounts and promotional codes (collectively “Promotions”) are valid for the specified time period for online purchases of merchandise only and may be used one time only unless otherwise stated.
  • One time use Promotions must be used in their entirety in a single purchase. Any amounts not redeemed in the applicable purchase will be forfeited. Promotions cannot be combined with other promotions.
  • Promotions do not apply to gift certificates, shipping, GST or duties or similar services.
  • Promotions cannot be applied retroactively to previously placed orders or to orders that have been adjusted.
  • Free shipping promotions are valid for Australian standard ground shipping within the Australian mainland and Tasmania.
  • For promotions requiring a minimum order size, charges for shipping and credits from gift certificates do not count towards the minimum order size requirement.
  • For promotions where you must buy 1 (or more) item(s) to get a reduction on the second (additional) item(s), the discount will be applied at checkout to the lower priced item.
  • If merchandise was purchased with a Promotion and subsequently returned, you will be issued a credit note at the promotional price and, if the Promotion has expired, it cannot then be applied to a replacement or future order.
  • If you return a gift that was purchased with a Promotion and the Promotion has expired, you cannot apply the expired Promotion to a replacement or future order.
  • Promotional items are available only while supplies last; Hunting for George does not issue rain checks for items that run out of stock.
  • Hunting for George can, at its sole discretion, extend or terminate a Promotion at any time.

Can I purchase or redeem a Gift Card online?
Sure. Gift Cards can be purchased online. Click here to purchase your Gift Cards online. Hunting for George Gift Cards can be redeemed online for any product.

How do I redeem my Gift Card?
To make a purchase using your Gift Card simply enter your special code at checkout. This will deduct the full amount of the Gift Card from your order total. If your Gift Card is more than the total purchase, the total purchase amount will be deducted from your Gift Card, and you will be able to use the remaining amount for future purchases.
