Returns Policy

If you receive any products that you are unhappy with, we’re happy to help you out if we are notified within 14 days. Simply send us an email and we’ll take it from there.

Please note all returns for Change of Mind are processed as Store Credit via a credit note to allow you to go shopping for your preferred product yourself.

Returns will not be accepted after 14 days unless deemed faulty.

Faulty or Damaged Goods

What if the product is damaged/faulty or you were sent the wrong item?

Oh no! In this case, we will happily provide a full refund, replacement or store credit, including all postage costs. Please contact our customer service at hello@huntingforgeorge.com within 14 days of receiving your order, so that we can make the necessary arrangements.

* The quicker you can alert us of the problem, the more chance we have of still having the product in stock to enable an exchange. Otherwise, a refund or credit will be issued.

Change of Mind Returns

EXCHANGES for a like for like product is fine. If the exact product or product of same value is not currently available then the exchange will be issued as an online store credit. So you can then purchase the product you want to swap it to. This includes sale and promotional items when contact is made and the product returned within 14 days of purchase.

STORE CREDIT are available on all products including sale and promotional items (if notified within 14 days). Store Credits are valid for 12 months from date of issue.

Original shipping and handling charges are not refundable for change of mind.

To be eligible for a change of mind return, the product must be returned to us in the original condition received and meet the following criteria.

  • Items must not be worn/used, altered, or washed.
  • Items must have all tags attached and be returned in original packaging.
  • Bulky items (furniture, rugs & oversize items) will incur a 20% restocking fee.
  • All costs associated in returning the goods will be at the purchasers expense.
  • Special order items and custom made orders cannot be returned unless deemed faulty.

 

Hunting for George reserves the right to deny a refund or credit if the goods are not returned in the specified condition for a change of mind.

 

I want to return an item, what should I do?

Send an email to our customer service department at hello@huntingforgeorge.com within 14 days of purchase and we will send you a Returns Form to fill in and return to us via email.

Help! I received a gift from Hunting for George that just ain’t my thing.

A little awkward but don’t worry, we’ve got your back.

An item that was received as a gift can be returned for store credit. Please contact our customer service at hello@huntingforgeorge.com to arrange and be sure to include the order number or name the order was placed under. Refunds are not available for gift returns.

What if the product is not what I ordered?

We make sure to pack and check all products with care but unfortunately these things happen. In this case, we will endevour to supply you with the correct product originally orderred. Please contact our customer service at hello@huntingforgeorge.com within 14 days of receiving your order, so that we can make the necessary arrangements. The quicker you can let us know of any issues, the better chance we have to replace the item.

How do I get the product back to you?

Once we receive your Returns Request and confirm your return, you will receive a Reply Paid label* via email. Simply print out the label, attach to the front of the parcel and drop it into your nearest post office. Items must be received back in the original packaging to be eligible for a return.
* Free return shipping does not apply to International orders or selected oversized items. 

Do I pay for return shipping?
Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods will be sent back using the Reply Paid label and we cover the costs*. If you need an exchange for change of mind, additional shipping charges may apply.

Have you received my returned item?
You will receive an email once your item has been received but please feel free to contact us if you have any concerns. Again, we strongly recommend noting your tracking number from Australia Post as we do not accept responsibility for goods lost by mail.

When will my return be processed?
We will aim to process your exchange, credit note or refund within 1-2 working days of receiving the returned product*. Once it has been processed you will receive an email notification. Please allow 2-5 working days for any refund(s) to show in your bank account or via original method of payment.
*We do not offer any exchanges, credit notes or refunds on used, damaged or lost products or products not returned in original packaging.
