With Indie Royalty, his Holiness, The right Reverend, Steven Patrick MORRISSEY visiting our fair City this weekend I felt compelled to share one of my favourite songs from his groundbreaking band, The Smiths. Saturday’s show is sold out and although it’s at Festival Hall, I’m pretty confident it’ll be pretty bloody brilliant. The self depreciating, often miserable, always literary crooner has aged pretty well while his songs have aged even better still …wish I’d gotten a ticket now. If you did, Have a blast. If you didn’t, have a great weekend anyway. Just to spite Morrissey. That’d be a very Morrissey thing to do.
