“Kind on crawling baby knees and bare frolicking feet, this inviting weave is perfect for little ones,” enthuse Sally Pottharst and Jodie Fried, brand co-founders. “It was the obvious extension for Sierra to venture into the nursery! And our new sweet, dulcet colours make it easy for designing really cosy kid’s spaces – cot side, bedside or as a play area.”
Sierra’s design is classic in simplicity and sumptuous in quality. Hand crafted from a wool blend, its thick depth and ageless style will grow up with any child.
“We aim for all our designs to be timeless. Hand weaving is at the heart of what we create, sustainable fibres too reinforce our commitment to generations to come”, Sally explains.
Indeed, the Armadillo&Co’s integral ethos supports families to continue their weaving tradition. All prof its give back to local village employees in India to aid with education and health.
Jodie expands, “We help those who create for us, create a better future for themselves. It’s the core of our brand, and it’s lovely for us to develop children’s ranges as we do feel so close to all our weavers’ extended families. It’s a meaningful way to build our culture, and feel connected. Our artisans enjoy each new design development, and things like schools we’ve built mean so much to the kids lives.”
